The International Student Office provides assistance to students as soon as they arrive in the Philippines and all throughout their stay in Our Lady of Fatima University.

Types of assistance offered
As foreign nationals, international students would need to acquire immigration papers (such as a Philippine Student VISA) for pursuing studies in the Philippines. Through submission of necessary documents, the International Student Office shall help facilitate in the processing the required immigration papers.

Arrival
Upon arrival in Manila, Philippines, initial transportation from the airport to the school will be provided. The International Student Office will aid and orient the students in the registration process upon arrival on campus.

Steps for taking admission in Our Lady of Fatima University.

For Indian Students:

Students from India who have completed Class 12 may need to complete the required pre-medical or preparatory education before admission to the four-year Doctor of Medicine (MD) program, depending on the university’s admission requirements. Students who already hold a relevant Bachelor’s Degree may be eligible for direct admission to the MD course, subject to the university’s eligibility requirements. The four-year medical course covers the study of the normal and abnormal human body and includes both basic medical sciences and clinical training.

1. The first year covers subjects related to normal Human Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Preventive Medicine & Community Health, Psychiatry and Medical Practice. Class lectures are supported by modern teaching methods, including multimedia presentations, practical sessions and group discussions. Medical ethics and professional practice are also included in the curriculum.

2. The second year deals with Pathology, Microbiology, Parasitology, Pharmacology, Preventive Medicine and Community Health, Psychiatry and other introductory courses in clinical subjects.

3. The third year consists of lectures and practical learning related to common diseases encountered in clinical practice. Students study pathophysiology, clinical features, diagnostic approaches and principles of patient management.

4. The fourth year or clinical clerkship is mainly spent in actual patient care, with affiliated hospitals providing clinical training. Hospital rounds, clinical discussions and practical patient-care activities help students gain hands-on clinical experience under supervision.

Steps and Procedure involved for Admission in OLFU

Step 1. Check admission eligibility.

  • 10+2 with minimum Aggregate 50% Marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
  • NEET pass

Step 2. Submit Copy of Documents.

  • 10th, 12th mark sheets.
  • Date of Birth (DOB) Certificate.
  • Passport.
  • NEET Scorecard

Once documents cleared by University Pay 500 USD to University for Admission Registration.

Step 3. University issues Admission Letter.

Step 4. Deposit 6000 USD as first year tuition fee and get admission confirmed.

Step 5.

  • Pay 2500 USD for Documentation.
  • Submit original documents for Visa Processing.

Step 6. Department of Foreign Affairs, Government of Philippines issues DFA Letter.

Step 7. Pay remaining 2,500 USD .
