Today, 3-July-2020, the HRD minister, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal, has announced the postponed of NEET 26 July 2020 Examination. Now the NEET examination will be held on 13-September-2020.

News before 3rd July 2020 :-

The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG , Under Graduate) 2020 to be schedule on 3rd May 2020 has been Postponed due the Outbreak of the Corona Virus and the lock down of the country till 14th April 2020. Now NEET 2020 proposed to be held in the last week of May 2020.

Similarly The Joint Entrance Examination (Main) will also to be reschedule. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has stopped issuing Admit Card as decided today March 27 2020. This decision was taken after a meeting of senior officials of the ministries of health and family welfare and human resources development.

The notice signed by the director general (DG) NTA , Mr. Vineet Joshi stated “In view of the hardships faced by the parents and students due to COVID-19 epidemic, the NTA (National Testing Agency) has postponed the ensuing NEET (UG) May 2020 Examination scheduled to be held on May 3 2020”. Where NTA has advised students to keep tracking latest on the official website for the latest updates on this issue. Students will be informed individually through their registered mobile and emails.

NTA has issuded public notice that NEET UG 2020 is proposed to be held in the last week of May 2020.

Today, 03/May/2020 HRD ministry , in press released stated that fresh dates for NEET 2020 Examination will be announced on 5th May 2020.
