NEET Validity for MBBS Abroad

Good news for students who are planning to study MBBS Abroad.

For Indian Citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who intend to take admission in an MBBS or equivalent medical course in a foreign medical institution, the NEET-UG result is valid for three years from the date of declaration of the result.

This means that a candidate who has qualified NEET-UG can use the qualifying NEET result for admission to an MBBS or equivalent medical course abroad within the applicable three-year validity period. The validity also covers a pre-medical or language course, if applicable, followed by the MBBS or equivalent medical course.

Students should still check the latest eligibility requirements of the selected university and the current NMC regulations before taking admission.

For the latest official information, please refer to the National Medical Commission (NMC) website.
