About Jilin University
Jilin University founded in 1946 in capital city of Jilin-province. It is ranked among the top 10 Universities in China and ranks top 300 in the world. It is having the largest area of more than 1500 acres in China. It is a former medical college Norman Bethune Medical University (after the name of great International and renowned Canadian Surgeon, who made significant contribution in the medical school) set in 1939. There after the medical college achieved an outstanding scientific research in many branches.
The international students’ education was started from the 50’s now among the 2020 medical students in the college in which more than 600 are from foreign countries like United States, Britain, USA, Saudi Arabia etc.
Jilin University is approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE) as qualified University to offer MBBS program since 2007.
The University has a large campus with the modern buildings covering more than 360,000 square meters and has 27 academic colleges.
